Project Management Challenge (PMC) 2022 is an international student competition in project management. This competition was held by the Project Management Institute (PMI) Indonesia Bandung Branch and this year was the 9th consecutive year of the competition. The PMC invited students from universities in Indonesia as well as other countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, China, and others.
Avenew Indonesia realizes that students are our next generation of project managers and project management practitioners. Through the competition, they can learn about how to identify opportunities, create a proper project plan, present it and communicate, and make networks and connections with other participants.
Project Management Challenge 2022 was held in Bandung in collaboration with Telkom University. This 3-day event encouraged participants to present their ideas into realities through a mini project management plan (MPMP). On the first day, they presented and defended their MPMP to be assessed by judges. On the second day, they were given insight into project management knowledge and visit the art village of Jelengkong. In the art village, they were challenged to identify a project to increase quality in communities. And they need to present their project on the third and final day in front of the judges.
