Many researchers have valuable findings but struggle to turn them into papers that make it through peer review. This free online webinar, organized by SCOPE (Strategic Center for Organizational & Project Excellence) in collaboration with the Journal of Project Management Research and Avenew, is designed to close that gap. Participants will learn to write with a researcher's clarity while anticipating the critical eye of a reviewer, so their work is ready for submission to reputable journals.
The session will be led by two accomplished academics who bring both authorship and reviewing experience to the table:
Prof. Dr. Susy Fatena Rostiyanti, S.T., M.Sc.
Vice Rector & Professor of Construction Management, Institut Teknologi PLN | Research Advisory Council of SCOPE
Inaugurated as the first Professor of Construction Management at Institut Teknologi PLN (ITPLN)
Authored over 70 academic research papers on construction management, public-private partnerships (PPP), and sustainable construction
Earned over 1,000 academic citations worldwide
Reviewed scholarly submissions for the Journal of Infrastructure Systems, a Q2 journal (SJR 0.591)
Dr. Ir. Andi Muhammad Ifrad, S.T., M.T.
Head of SCOPE | Researcher, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia
Earned a Doctoral Degree from Universitas Indonesia in just 2.5 years
Innovated 7 intellectual properties in asphalt materials and pavement engineering
Awarded 5 research grants over a 2-year period
Published 8 Scopus-indexed research papers
Served as a peer reviewer for Construction and Building Materials, a Q1 journal (SJR 2.097)
Throughout the webinar, participants will learn how to structure their research into a publication-ready paper with a clear flow and storyline, strengthen their manuscripts with meaningful research gaps, sound arguments, and clear contributions, and navigate the publication process from manuscript preparation through submission and revision. Whether you are a student, early-career researcher, or academic aiming to publish in higher-impact journals, this session offers practical insights straight from those who write and evaluate scientific papers.
